Ahimsa is my home studio where all of my public classes are held.  It is beautiful, spacious and has comfortable seating for parents who wish to take a rest during their child's class.   Ahimsa handles all YogaKids registration details through their own site.    Class size is limited, and if space allows, a pro-rated tuition is offered to new students entering the class mid-session.                                                                 

Girl Power Yoga

Each Girl Power class is themed to be fun and educational while addressing adolescent and elementary age girls’ emotional needs. Breathing techniques calm and center the mind and energize the body. Poses stretch tight, fast growing muscles, build strength and body coordination. Good posture is a direct link to a confident brain too! The classes are themed and include music, visual arts and stories for creative fun. The girls in this group are kind and welcoming to all - connection and friendship are an important part of each class. 

Sessions for Adolescent Girls Only (5th to 8th graders), Wednesdays 4:30-5:30

• Summer 2024, June 12 - July 31 (9th grade former PG students are welcome to come)

Whittier - Mondays, 3:15-4:15, March 11 - May 20 open to boys and girls in K through 5th grade, register through Whittier after school program / Fambro

Lincoln - Thursdays, 3:15-4:15, March 14 - April 18 open to boys and girls in K through 5th grade, register through PTO

Irving - Fridays, Feb 3 - May 3 (no class 2/9 or 3/29) open to boys and girls in K through 5th grade, register through the Irving PTO

Partnering with District 97 public school system, YogaKids brings fun, focus and flexibility to the school.
